Who Do You Need on Your Development Team — and When?
Property development can get complicated quickly. One of the biggest challenges isn’t necessarily finding consultants — it’s knowing who you need, when to bring them in and what questions to ask before committing serious money to a project.
This Tuesday night (29th September 2026), I’ll be joining Dave Weston from DRW Consulting and a panel of experienced development professionals to unpack a project from several different perspectives.
Rather than sitting through a series of separate presentations, we’ll work through the same development journey together — looking at where planning, engineering, surveying and infrastructure advice fits into the process, how the different disciplines interact, and where early advice can potentially save significant time, cost and frustration.
I’ll be covering the town planning and approvals side of the equation, including how to assess the development potential of a property and identify planning issues before getting too far down the track.
