Pay your deposit: You will shortly receive an invoice from our team. You should receive this within 48 hours but don’t worry, that won’t stop us from setting your job up and getting going so don’t worry if you don’t receive it straight away.
Final documentation and plans – If required
If you have plans or documents that we’ll need to assist you, please email the final copies over as soon as you’re ready.
Landowners consent form: This is a requirement for certain applications. If you are required to do this, it will be on the last page of your fee proposal, if it isn’t there, don’t worry about it.
What happens next?
Your job will be assigned to one of our planners. We want to pair you with the planner in our office who is most experienced with the kind of project that you have. Within a week, we’ll assign you to a planner and they will get in touch to introduce themselves. Check out the ‘Meet the team‘ section to meet your planner!
Assessment begins! Now that you’ve been assigned to one of our planners, we’ll start working on your project. If you’ve selected ‘Express turnaround’ then this will all happen within 1 week of receiving all of your documentation. Otherwise, this will generally take 2-3 weeks. Our planners will be in touch if we need anything further or have any questions.
We lodge your application or deliver your advice. Once everything is ready, we will lodge your application to Council, or deliver your advice to you via email. You can read more about the development assessment timeframes on our website here
